Pet's Story or Bio
Theo is a long haired Chihuahua and a puppy mill and abuse survivor. He was caged 24/7, starved, abused, neglected, and alone until he was rescued from the puppy mill at 7 years old. Then only to find himself adopted by a couple where the wife adored him but the husband abused him. She escaped his clutches 1 and a half years later but she was forced to return Theo and his brother to the rescue in Iowa. He eventually made his way to a foster home here in Indiana. As a volunteer myself, I found him when looking for animals that needed help. We decided to make him ours. Just look at that face. Who could say no? Theo is toothless and his tongue hangs out, making him even more adorable. He is now 14 years old and he lives his best life. He gets morning belly and ear rubs every day, an over abundance of treats and boy oh boy does he love his walks. He's still leary of men and it took daddy many months to gain his trust. He will forever be spoiled and will always be a Mama's boy......sorry dad. He would make the perfect cover model.
