Spoon

A little about me...
Spoon was adopted in June of 2022 as a teeny tiny kitten. He looks nearly identical to his two older brothers, Smokey and Sitka, also grey and white tabbies we adopted from the humane society. He was the last of his litter, all alone, and we couldn't leave him!!

Right after his adoption, Spoon developed a severe eye infection in his left eye. He spent the next two months in a cone as his eye worsened. After many trips to the vet and many rounds of medication, we decided that removing the eye was the best course of action. Spoon is a much happier cat with one eye than he was when he was trapped in the cone.

He can be a little wobbly in new situations and doesn't have great depth perception, but that never stops him! He charges head first after anything and everything that moves.

Now, Spoon is the chaos of our house, and we love him for it! Spoon is the best at playing fetch, snuggling his mom, and terrorizing his older brothers. He loves hunting bugs and begging for treats. We kept our Christmas tree up until February because Spoon loved to scale the branches!

We are forever grateful to the Humane Society for the part they played in all of our cat's lives! We couldn't imagine our lives without Spoon.
