Welcome to the Lynchburg Humane Society's 2024 Pet Photo Calendar Contest! This contest is a fundraiser for LHS and also a wonderful way to celebrate your pet, all while supporting the Center for Pets. 100% of the proceeds will go towards the pets in our care. Now is the time to show everyone your favorite pet picture and possibly have it featured in the LHS 2024 Calendar for all to see! Share the contest with your friends and family through social media or with an email to encourage them to vote for your pet and their photo. All photo entries are guaranteed a spot in the photo collage page at the beginning of the calendar.

We are excited to have the option to feature your pet's picture on a special date of your choice for an $15 (this option does not enter your pet in the calendar contest). First come, first serve for choice of dates.

The Grand Prize winner with the most votes overall will be featured on the front cover of the 2024 calendar, as well as having additional pictures and a personal bio prominently displayed on the inside cover!


The top 6 Dog images and top 6 Cat images to receive the highest number of votes will be featured on a month spread in LHS's 2024 calendar! Winners' choice of month will be given in order of pets with highest number of votes. The top 12 winners will also receive a free calendar.


Want a guaranteed spot in the calendar? Reserve a day to honor your pet. Your pet's photo will appear on the date of your choice. Just choose your favorite photo, choose the day, and donate! First come, first serve for date selection! Once a date has been reserved, it will no longer be available. Please note, this will not enter your pet in the calendar contest. Each date selected requires a $15 donation.
