A little about me...
I adopted Smokey from the Lynchburg Humane Society in January of 2017 when she was about two and a half years old. She actually picked "me" out that day by climbing up my leg and practically begging me to take her home. I had just gone through a terrible divorce and had lost my dear Siamese cat to cancer only a year earlier. This little lady immediately won my heart and became my little shadow. She is one of the smartest and most talkative felines I have ever seen. I have been able to teach her tricks and we occasionally carry on conversations with each other. She's a bit jealous of my new wife and her new little Tuxedo kitty-brother, Buddy. But, she's still my "lil' shadow" and begs "luvin" from me every chance she gets. I'm so thankful for her and, as the photo shows, she's one contented kitty.
