A little about me...Stella was born to a liter from a feral mom. Mama Dog, as she was later called, wandered into a yard in Rustburg on Poorhouse Road. A woman there saw she was pregnant & didn’t have a collar. She started feeding her & slowly gained Mama's trust but she was still skittish, she built her a pin in the yard & eventually Mama had a liter of puppies. A friend of mine told me he was going to adopt a pup & there were two boy pups left. We made arrangements to go see the puppies. When we arrived there were three pups. Apparently, someone took the runt of the liter, a female, but she brought her back. My now husband, went into the pin & immediately the female with her short stumpy legs came waddling up to him. The others showed no interest, he scooped her up & she fit in the palm of his hand. She snuggled up to him & it was a done deal we gained a new family member, a sweet little pup we named Stella. Four years ago she chose us & stole our hearts. 💗 Now Stella is 45 lbs., but still short legged. She is a smart. full of personality, spoiled super model, who by the way after this photo ate the flower. LOL
