A little about me...Leonora was fostered and then adopted from Lynchburg Humane Society. She had the nickname “long stay Leonora” as she had set a record of being there two years. Leonora was thought to not have manners since she’d scratch when others tried to pet her and wouldn’t let anyone near her, but I say she was just a “scaredy cat”. With some time, trust building, and consistent love she has warmed up to me and some others who visit. She often now comes to me for cuddles and sits on my lap! She is still shy but has definitely warmed up and is loving in her own way!
