• Photo and costume must be appropriate.
• Donation is required to enter; this is set to a minimum of $1 as we know that not everyone is able to donate a lot. All the money will be donated directly to Mary's Meals where 93% of funds go directly to charitable activities.

We are the Ottawa Volunteer Team for Mary's Meals. Mary's Meals is an international organization and a global movement with the goal is feeding the poorest of children in their place of education. Many children cannot receive an education as they are either too hungry to learn or cannot attend school as they need to get food for their family. Mary's Meals strives to ensure that children are able to both eat a nutritional meal and attend school. In the 18+ countries where Mary's Meals operates, school attendance has greatly improved. Mary's Meals started in Malawi in 2002 and has only grown since then.

The Ottawa Team is throwing this Pet Costume Contest with the goal of raising awareness of the organization and raising funds. Many love dressing up their pets in fun costumes and we believe this will be a great way to introduce our team into the community.
