Nani arrived at MHS in December of 2012, emaciated, tick-infested and scared. One MHS staffer remembers her looking like a "train wreck." After MHS vet staff worked their magic, Nani was moved to the adoption kennels, where she stayed for two months. I saw her staring at me, and was smitten. I knew I had to bring her back with me to Northern California.
MHS helped me with all the legwork, and Nani is now romping on colder beaches, has a loving family and enjoys life. We have a complete family!
