My husband and I were adopted by Julie aka Indy on 7/3/13 at Maui Humane Society. One of your amazing volunteers, who also volunteers at East Maui Animal Refuge posted some pictures on FB, and a wonderful description about how sweet she was. I felt a connection to her immediately and my husband and I located her after talking to several people who thought she had already been adopted. Eventually we were united and spent the afternoon getting to know each other. The rest is history and she is now an integral part of our Maui ohana.
