- The top three photos in each category (Dogs, Cats, Other, and MHS Alumni) with the most votes will be named “People’s Choice” winners and each will be featured as a Pet of the Month in the Maui Humane Society’s 2017-2018 13-month Pet Calendar.
- One photo will be selected as 'Judge's Pick' and will be featured as a 'Pet of the Month'.
- In addition to the People’s Choice winners and Judge’s Pick photos, the first 80 photos submitted by the deadline and meeting the photographic requirements will be included in the calendar as part of a collage.
- All entrants will be featured in a special slide show at our 2017 Fur Ball and will receive one complimentary 2017-2018 Pet Calendar (valued at $10) when they become available.
The cover of our 2017-2018 Pet Calendar will be auctioned to the highest bidder at our upcoming
2017 Fur Ball in September, with all proceeds to benefit Maui Humane Society. The winner may select a photo of their choosing, or arrange to have their pet's portrait taken by Michelle Steigmeyer, photographer of our 2016-2017 Pet Calendar's stunning cover photo.
