We had to say goodbye to our dog of 16 years (Max) in December and our other dog Barkley has been a bit lonely since then. Barkley is 3 and loves a good playdate, but is also a bit of a resource guarder so it's been difficult to introduce another adult dog for him. This photo of Jack was taken by his foster mom, Kathy Cuddihy. Jack came to visit us last month for a puppy play date. Barkley immediately took to him, sharing his toys and playing. The puppy, even though only 6 weeks old, held his own. Little did we know our friend Nikki had put a hold on him, she had hunch he would be a good fit. But we weren't sure we were going to get him because his foster parents really liked him. While on the mainland about to attend a memorial service for Tori's mom, who had passed away after a battle with cancer, Nikki texted that we were getting Jack. Barkley and Jack play all day, every day.
