Koa formally Pebble was my first foster as a part time volunteer at MHS while I was on Maui for three weeks in Oct./ Nov. After returning to Colorado and could not stop thinking about him I had to figure a way to adopt him ? First of December with everyones help at MHS he flew to California where we drove him cross country to his forever home in Colorado❤️🐶
He was scared, stressed and not adapting well to shelter life but now is happy , calm, playful and working on some of his fears of people and noises . Loves his car rides, cuddling on sofa , playing with his dog friends and eating lots of treats… well just eating in general! Doesn’t even mind the snow and cold weather but prefers finding any spot he can to hang in the sun! He is loving the beginning of summer in the mountains. He’s looking forward to getting back to Maui to his second home part time..
