She was an owner surrendered. Sometimes things don't work out. For Pita it was the addition of a new baby in the house. She was an owner surrender. It was a tearful event. The owner walked up the sidewalk, handed me a piece of paper, and quickly ran back to her car. For years I would send notes, just to let her know Pita was loved and doing well. Her family grew but her love for her precious furbaby was never forgotten. One day years later she drove up and down our street for what seemed like forever. Tony approached her vehicle she told him she was Pita's Mom, and wondered how she was doing. Tony invited her in along with her two kids. It was a beautiful yet bittersweet reunion she knew her husband would never allow her to allow her to bring Pita home.
