• Our contest is open to pets of all kinds.  Surprise us with your beloved companions dressed up or in the buff!  It’s up to you to be as creative as you like!
• NO people in the photos – we prefer to protect the privacy of our humans.
• We all love to use our handy-dandy phone cameras.  Just make sure you submit a clear, visually appealing photo.
• The more you communicate your participation in the contest (i.e. at work, with friends, via Social media), the better chances you have to win one of the top spots and the more our animals at the shelter benefit. Votes are $1 per vote.
• There are occasional "vote sales" so you need to keep your eyes open on our Facebook site or your email.
• The winning pet photos will be featured throughout the year on the AWL website, FB page and mostly newsletter.
• This is a fun and exciting way to show you care as a an animal lover!
• It's not over until it is over…you may vote up until the last minute for your favorite pet! 
  
  

The top three vote-getters will receive gift baskets stocked with goodies, gift certificates and various treasures from local businesses.

They will also have celebrity status on AWL publications and promotions.
