My Service Dog, Hazel Grace, and I took a leap in the summer of 2022 and decided to audition for a musical! We were cast and did another one after that! She allowed me to get back into theatre and helped teach others about the value of service dogs. Hazel now loves the stage and loves going to watch shows as well! She is well known in our town for her adorable costumes and how good she is on stage! Many people have not only complimented how cute she is, but they always have something to say about how amazing it is to see a true Service Dog in action. My cast members were the most amazed because they saw her tasking first hand. I’m so proud of my pup and we can’t wait to get back on the stage!
