Rules

Contest will run from 8:00:00 AM (Eastern Time) on Sunday, July 17, 2022, through 8:00:00 PM (Eastern Time) on Friday, September 30, 2022.

The contest is about celebrating the relationship between people and their service dogs. Enter your favorite picture of you (or a relative) and your service dog. Look for ways to illustrate the bond, the love, the mutual help and the partnership between you and your service dog. It you are not in the picture, please provide a signed authorization giving you the right to submit the picture.

A dog and a person must both be featured in the picture. All people and dogs must be depicted in a dignified manner. Dogs should not appear distressed and cannot wear a pinch collar, a choke chain, or a shock collar.

The 12 photographs with the most votes will be featured in the 2023 Medical Mutts calendar celebrating service dog teams.

• Only photos of service DOGS are accepted, no other species.
• The photo must show a person with their service dog.
• Your service dog does NOT have to come from Medical Mutts to be eligible to enter the contest.
• Photos may not contain more than one service dog.
• Photos must be high-resolution (300 dpi or greater) and be in landscape (horizontal) format to be considered for a month spread in the calendar.
• Photos must be full-color, no heavily filtered, edited or altered.
• Photo format should be in JPEG, JPG or PNG.
• Only pictures you have personally taken may be submitted. Photos with professional photographer watermarks will not be eligible to be included in the calendar.
• Photos deemed offensive, indecent or obscene will be removed from the contest
• Photos must receive at least 5 votes to be included in the 2023 calendar.
• Once entered, the photos become the property of Medical Mutts Service Dogs Inc. to be used at Medical Mutts Service Dogs Inc.'s discretion.

When you submit your picture, please make sure to include your dog's name, your name (or the name of the person in the picture if that isn't you), you address (address will not be displayed, only city and state). Please also include information about both the person and the dog in the picture and how the dog is making a difference. Information should be 150 words or less.

You may enter as many times as you like. Each entry is a $10.00 donation to Medical Mutts Service Dogs Inc.

Multiple entries will give you a higher chance of your picture being selected!

Medical Mutts Service Dogs In. is a 501(C) (3) nonprofit, EIN 83-3099630. Donation may be tax deductible.

With a minimum donation of $15, you may also feature your pet or service dog on a calendar day! This is a fun way to make a day of the year all about your dog. Pick a particular date, maybe your dog's birthday, or the day you got your dog. First come, first served!

We reserve the right to decline publication of any photograph for any reason. Should this happen, we will notify you and refund your entry fee if desired. All photos become the property of Medical Mutts Service Dogs Inc. and may be used as needed at Medical Mutts Service Dogs Inc.'s discretion.

By submitting your photograph, you understand and consent to the publication of your dog and yourself in the 2023 Medical Mutts Calendar, which will be used for charitable purposes, including raising money for the charity and awareness for service dogs in general.

By participating in the Photo Contest, entrants agree to release and hold harmless Medical Mutts Service Dogs Inc. and the contest Sponsors and each of their representatives and agents (the Released Parties) from and against any claims arising out of participating in the Contest or receipt or use of any prize. The Contest is subject to all federal, state and local laws and regulations.


Each vote is worth $1. For a minimum of $5 donation, you will receive a "bank" of votes to apply to entries as you wish. You'll be able to give all your votes to one picture or spread them over multiple photos. Donations are non-refundable. Just like entries, donations must be made through the online contest page. By submitting a photograph of your dog, you understand, agree, and consent to the use of the photograph by Medical Mutts Service Dogs Inc, or its sponsors as they see fit, in accordance with the spirit of the contest, calendar, and Medical Mutts Service Dogs Inc.
