Doggone Cute! 2016 Calendar Photo Contest

We are doggedly determined to raise money to buy two used vans. These vans would give us the opportunity to transport more dogs to adoption events that occur monthly in the Midwest and Northeast (and almost anywhere in between). Increasing the adoption rate and saving more lives is our most important goal.

We're so excited to have you, our biggest supporters, be part of our exciting rescue dog photo contest and calendar fundraiser!

Upload your Doggone Cute! rescue dog photos for our photo contest,  then send the link to everyone you know so that they can vote for that photo to be highlighted in one of the twelve months of the calendar. The votes will tallied and be shown on the leader board – 1st place leader will win the coveted 2016 Calendar Cover, the following 2nd-13th place leaders will win their own month.

Our contest is open to any rescue dog photo. No humans, please.

Want to smile at the rescue doggies all year long? Pre-order as many calendars as you'd like (they make great gifts!). Simply fill out the pre-order form here. Calendars are $20 each plus $3 shipping and handling.

Your best doggy friend's photos can appear on the day(s) of your choice. Just submit your favorite photo(s) and select the day(s). Once a specific day has been reserved, it will no longer be available. Fill out the form and submit here! Reserve A Day photos are $10 each. Such a sweet way to honor your rescue pup!

Beverly Mercer began her rescue, Mercer Animal Rescue & Sanctuary, in 2011. Since then, she (and an amazingly dedicated team of volunteers) has rescued over 1500 dogs. All of these homeless dogs come from several high-kill shelters throughout the Memphis, Tennessee area. The rescue dogs are pulled from the shelters, sometimes within minutes of being euthanized. These fabulous dogs are evaluated, rehabilitated, fed, given great medical attention and most importantly, shown love. The ultimate goal is to find loyal and loving adoptive families for them – simply put: a furever home. Ms. Mercer would love to be reached for comment, but she most likely will not be able to hear you over the din of barking dogs. Woof!
