James is a lifeguard at Kama’ole Beach Park II. An animal lover with ducks, dogs, and a cat, he especially enjoys raising his ducks. He finds his role as a lifeguard rewarding for its energy, teamwork, and the chance to help people.

Lily was adopted from Maui Humane Society in 2019 after recovering from parvovirus. She is friendly, fearless, and full of energy. She jumps into laps for belly rubs without warning, loves water, and is always game for a long walk with her favorite humans.
