Get to Know the Pets and Heroes
Emily, an MHS Humane Enforcement Officer and licensed EMT, has been with the organization for 2 years. A devoted dog lover with 7 pups, she especially cherishes Beau, her 12-year-old Husky/Labrador Retriever mix. She is passionate about working with animals and making a positive impact in the community.

Guava, an 11-month-old puppy, is a foodie with lots of doggy friends at MHS. He is eager to learn new tricks for treats, all with his irresistible “Disney prince eyes,” and will be transferred through MHS’ lifesaving program, Wings of Aloha, to a partner shelter for adoption.
