Kalani, a fire captain on Rescue Engine 3 at Lahaina station, has dedicated 23 years of service. Raised around his grandmother’s cat colony, he became an animal lover. He believes in serving the community, making connections, and making Maui a better place.

Mocha, a 6-year-old dog, loves her role of teaching the kids in her family about responsible pet ownership. True to her Chihuahua heritage, she loves tortilla chips. She greets her family with a smiling face and is a floofy, loyal buddy.
