Per is a firefighter in Wailea. He loves his team and the rewarding nature of the job. He spends his days with Mango, a Blue Heeler/Border Collie mix, who loves barking at him from the beach while he surfs.

Maka, an almost 8-year-old dog, was adopted from Maui Humane Society in 2018 after arriving as a young mom. She’s a huge cuddle bug, obsessed with food, and terrified of water. You’ll never see her too far from her mom’s side!
