Get to Know the Pets and Heroes
James is a lifeguard at Kama’ole Beach Park II. An animal lover with ducks, dogs, and a cat, he especially enjoys raising his ducks. He finds his role as a lifeguard rewarding for its energy, teamwork, and the chance to help people.

Jasper, a 2-year-old Muscovy duck, is gentle, playful, and makes friends easily. She lives with her four duck sisters and was rescued by her dad and momma who hand fed and nursed her back to health when she fell ill.
