Mile High Weimaraner Rescue is holding our fourth annual calendar photo contest for our upcoming 2023 calendar. MHWR is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. We encourage you to submit your favorite photos and ask your family and friends to vote and support our rescue! Keep your cameras close and snap those pictures of your weims!
Contest entry is only $5 and each vote is $1. Every dollar makes a difference in the lives of homeless weimaraners. Once you submit your entry, you can share it with your family and friends and encourage them to vote!
- Submit your photo(s) with a minimum $5.00 donation per picture.
- You may enter as many times as you like. Photos will be accepted on the MHWR contest website from 8:00:00 AM (Mountain Time) on Sunday, May 15, 2022 through 8:00:00 PM (Mountain Time) on Friday, July 22, 2022 for public viewing.
- Votes will be accepted on the MHWR contest website from 8:00:00 AM (Mountain Time) on Sunday, May 15, 2022 through 8:00:00 PM (Mountain Time) on Friday, July 22, 2022. Votes are $1 each. Top voted photos will win prizes as outlined below.
- Entrant must own full rights to photo and photos may not be copyrighted.
- Entrant retains rights to image but by submitting to MHWR Photo Contest, they are giving MHWR non-exclusive and irrevocable royalty free license to use the photo as we wish.
Contestant Entry Information:
- Photos should contain dogs only. You may enter as many photos as you wish.
- Complete the entry process and submit your photo in a JPEG, JPG, PNG or GIF format, although JPEG/JPG is the preferred form. Photo size should be at least minimum of 1500 x 1200 dpi in order to minimize photo distortion when used in calendar. All submitted photos are subject to review by MHWR.
- Spread the word everywhere!! Ask family and friends to get online and vote for your photo!
- Winning entrants will be selected by the MHWR Committee in accordance with the tabulation results provided by GoGo Photo Contest. These winning entrants will be selected for our calendar and a complimentary calendar will be awarded to each member included in calendar.
- All submitted photos and information become the property of MHWR to be used at their discretion for any and all marketing purposes.
Voter Information:
- Each $1 donation counts as 1 vote. When you donate to vote, you will receive a "bank" of votes that then need to be applied to entries as you wish. You can place all votes on one entry or place them on multiple entries.
- We encourage all members supporting our calendar photo contest to share the website with family and friends via social media or email.
- All donations are non-refundable. Entries and donations must be made via the online contest page.
- Contest payments online are through a secure site.
