Fonzie is a polydactyl... also known as a 'Hemmingway cat' because Ernest Hemmingway had polydactyl cats. He has an extra digit on his paws that look like thumbs. Fonzie uses his paws just like a human to grab onto things. Our family loves to watch re-runs of Happy Days on Me TV, so it was only appropriate to name him Fonzie and refer to him as "The Fonz". AAAAAAY! He stands on his hind legs and begs for treats too - it's so irresistibly cute. In this picture he is helping us put together a puzzle... but his way of helping is stealing the pieces and chewing on them!
