Rules

Submitting a photo to be included in Pets 4 the Vets Photo Contest is easy.

1. Register and submit your Pet’s Photo: Select a category and post a picture of your pet. Enter your pet's photos in one, or all three categories. The entry fee is $10 per entry/category. Want to show off multiple pets?  You can enter each one separately or enter one photo of multiple pets which will count as one registration.
2. To submit photos online, from the menu, click on PARTICIPATE - ENTER CONTEST and follow the directions to upload a photograph of your pet. Online entries must be received by midnight (11:59:59 PM Eastern Time) on Saturday, April 23, 2022, but online voting will continue for existing registrants until the contest ends at midnight (11:59:59 PM Eastern Time) on Saturday, April 30, 2022.
3. Brag about your pet! Tells us about your pet(s). Make it interesting, fun, and heartfelt to encourage votes! If you adopted or rescued your pet be sure to let everyone know. Tell us about your pets' funny quirks, habits, and personality!
4. Spread the word!  Once registered, you will receive a link to your entry to share. Tell your friends and family to vote for your pet photo(s)! Each vote costs just $1. Your pet could win great prizes and become a local sensation!

Note: All photos become the property of the Miami Valley Veterans Museum.

Acceptable photo formats are .jpg, .bmp, .png, and .tif

Photos must:

• Be in color or black and white
• Be still photos, not live pictures or video clips
• Depict a specific category as defined below
• Feature pets owned by the entrant, OR the entrant must have permission from the pet’s owner to submit their pet’s image.
• NOT be edited or altered (other than minor color, contrast, or sharpness adjustments).

NOTE: Photographs of people or content that is deemed inappropriate, indecent, or obscene; for example, pets depicted in a stressful situation (as determined by the contest host) will be removed immediately without warning.
 

Do you have a cat that gets into silly positions, a dog that adores being dressed up or a bird that makes funny faces? Then share them with us!  We want to see all of those photos!

3. Funniest/Most expressive pet
    

Once a photo is submitted, it will appear in the online gallery on the Pets 4 the Vets website, and the photo will be open to voting by the general public. Votes are $1 each, with no minimum.

All votes for photo submissions will be tabulated and displayed online.

To vote online, from the menu, click on PARTICIPATE – VIEW ENTRIES/VOTE. The online voting period will end at 12:00 AM (Eastern Time) on Friday, April 1, 2022

All votes are donations to the Miami Valley Veterans Museum and are fully tax-deductible as permitted by law. Upon request, all donors will receive receipts for their contribution.

Stay up to date on your pet’s votes on this leaderboard. Voting is open until 11:59:59 PM on April 30, 2022, and the results will be posted in real time.
