Pet's Story or Bio
We adopted Jackson and his sister 9 years ago and he was definitely my son's cat and we didn't interact very much. About 2 years ago he got very sick when my son was away at college with hepatic lipidosis because for some reason he stopped eating. He lost a lot of weight and spent a week at the vet specialist with a feeding tube. We thought we were going to lose him. I brought him home and after a couple of weeks of feeding him through a tube in his neck he was on the road back to health. Jackson now is very healthy and has shown his gratitude by becoming very close to me and shown me how wonderful and loving cats are. This inspired me to become a cat volunteer at MHHS to pay it forward to help more cat find the love they deserve.
