Pet's Story or Bio
Echo was rescued by the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society in 2017 from a shelter in Tennessee. He was recognized as having the qualities to be a Search & Rescue candidate and was accepted into the National Disaster Search Dog Foundation’s canine candidate training program in Santa Paula, CA.
Echo spent from April 2017 to January 2018 at SDF where he trained to be a live victim search canine before being partnered with his Handler Brook Rowley and returning together to New York. Brook & Echo have been on many deployments for missing people.
