Hold onto your leashes, because the excitement just reached a whole new level in the 6th Annual Morris Animal Refuge Calendar Contest. Imagine this: not only could your pet grace the cover of the calendar, but they could also become the face of a one-of-a-kind, specially crafted batch of beer courtesy of MLBW Brewing!
Yes, you read that right! The top three pets of the contest will step into the spotlight and be featured on the label of a specially crafted batch of beer courtesy of MLBW Brewing. The top three winners will receive two complimentary cases of this beer.
It's simple to join the excitement: just submit your pet's picture and a $15 entry fee to kickstart their campaign. But that's just the beginning!
The real fun begins as you take the stage as a campaigner. Spread the word far and wide – to your friends, family, and even your coworkers. Every vote counts, with $1 equating to a valuable vote for your pet's photo. Utilize the power of social media to make your pet's presence felt.
The top 12 photos, as voted by our community, will earn a spot in our 2024 calendar and receive a complimentary copy.

Prizes
First Prize:

2nd & 3rd Prizes:
Have the power to choose what month their pet will be featured in the calendar, following the first place pet. They will also become the face of a one-of-a-kind, specially crafted batch of beer courtesy of your My Local Brew Works. You will receive two complimentary cases of this specially made beer with your pet featured on the label!
Prizes 4-12:
The rest of the top 12 will each be featured for a month in the 2024 Morris Animal Refuge. Each of the winners will receive a copy of the 2024 Morris Animal Refuge Calendar.
- Contest Entry and Campaign Dates (09/01/2023 8:00 a.m. EST – 09/30/2023 10:00 p.m. EST)
- Entry and Donation Fees are $15 per photo entry and $1 for each vote.
- Please use a high resolution photo of at least 2400 x 1800 pixels. The calendar will be 8.5in x 8.5in, so please make sure that the photo will easily be able to be cropped into a square. If your photo appears to be too low resolution (grainy in appearance) or is in a non-compatible format you will be notified.
- Photos must be of animals only, no people please.
- All entries must be an animal that was adopted or rescued from an animal shelter, rescue organization, or off of the street.
- By entering this contest, you agree that you hold the right to reproduce and sell the image you are submitting.
- Morris Animal Refuge reserves the right to disqualify any picture that is not within guidelines or that we deem inappropriate.
- By entering this contest you are giving Morris Animal Refuge the right to use your photos in the calendar and for promotional purposes. All proceeds will go to Morris Animal Refuge.
