Welcome to the 4th Annual Morris Animal Refuge Calendar Contest!
Does your pet have what it takes to be a calendar model? Here's your chance to find out!
Enter your pet's picture here, the entry fee is $15 (this fee will kick off your pet's campaign as well!).
After you do that, start campaigning. Share the contest with your friends, family, coworkers, and anyone else you can think of! Ask them to vote for your pet's photo ($1 = 1 vote). Social media is a great, easy way to reach people.
The 12 photos with the most votes will be featured in our 2022 calendar and will also receive a copy of the calendar. The top vote-getter will also be featured in the coveted spot on the cover of the calendar.
It's the Final Countdown!
We’re giving you one last chance to get bonus votes for your furry friend! Every $25 donation will include an extra 10 votes for the pet of your choice! This vote promotion will run for the last 24 hours of the contest, starting at 10:00 p.m. EST Wednesday, September 29th and will run until the close of the contest, 10:00 p.m. EST Thursday, September 30th.
UPDATE: This just in! The top 3 winners of the 2022 Calendar Contest will now also be featured on the Morris Animal Refuge "Gimme Shelter" mural expansion, part of the Mural Arts Philadelphia Mural Mile South! The expansion will wrap around our building facing the street, and will be installed in 2022 by artist David Guinn and Mural Arts Philadelphia. This is your chance for your best friend to be immortalized on an amazing piece of public art while supporting our lifesaving work! Pet must be available to take new photos with artist's design specifications.
Last year this contest raised $19,779. This year, our goal is to raise $20,000 to help Morris Animal Refuge continue our efforts in finding homes for Philadelphia's homeless animals and providing high-quality care for the animals in our shelter.
Keep an eye out for fun opportunities to get extra votes for your pet! We’ll be announcing these specials throughout the contest on this page, our social media, and in our emails!
Prizes
First Prize:
The photo with the most votes will be featured on the cover of the calendar cover photo. The winner will also get first choice for which month their photo is used for and a copy of the 2022 Morris Animal Refuge Calendar.
First Three Prizes:
The top 3 winners will be featured on the Morris Animal Refuge "Gimme Shelter" mural expansion, part of the Mural Arts Philadelphia Mural Mile South! The expansion will wrap around our building facing the street, and will be installed in 2022 by artist David Gunn and Mural Arts Philadelphia. This is your chance for your best friend to be immortalized on an amazing piece of public art while supporting our lifesaving work!
Prizes 2-12:
The rest of the top 12 will each be featured on a month in the 2022 Morris Animal Refuge. 2nd place will be the second person to choose their month from the remaining available months, 3rd place will get the 3rd choice, and so on. Each of the winners will receive a copy of the 2022 Morris Animal Refuge Calendar.
