Stevie was found in Strawberry Mansion when he was only a few weeks old and became a foster kitten through ACCT. Rambunctious and clever, he still retains a certain sweet habit from kittenhood: he will make biscuits and suckle on his human’s arm when he is lonely. When he was very small, he was presented with two stuffed mice toys, one white and one gray. He chose the mouse that was the same color as he is. Even today, whenever he is left alone, he will find and carry Gray Mouse-o in his mouth for comfort. At 18 pounds, Stevie is an athlete of a cat, dashing through the apartment and chasing his adopted brother. In early 2021, he met this new brother, who is also named Steve. Amazingly, the Steves each arrived with the same name into the same home, as though they were meant to be together. The house of Steves remains a vibrant sanctuary for leaping and sleeping Steves alike.
