Pet's Story or Bio
Alice was a senior rescue who turned my world upside down (for the better)!! She is mostly deaf and almost totally blind but has lots of love to give. Likely used to breed, she was found abandoned with many medical setbacks. PAWS took Alice in where she underwent surgeries and medical rehab, not to mention had to learn that humans can be good! She is now thriving, given a clean bill of health by her vet and loving her spoiled but well deserved life! She is so adored by everyone who meets her, especially kids whom she patiently allows to pet and hug her even with her visual and hearing impairments. She struts the streets of Philadelphia like she owns the city, and it’s such a joy seeing her happy and healthy!
