Dr. Punk, the gorgeous Maine Coon, was a senior surrendered to Morris Animal Refuge after her elderly owner passed away. She was so distraught when she first entered the shelter. She pulled out much of her fur, and no one could get near her at first. By the time we went to see her, she had calmed down a lot, but she still wanted a home. When we heard her big feet thumping across the floorboards, we were in love. And now, she is fluffier and healthier than ever, and confident enough for the world to hear her roar!
