I found Enzo (or "Mayor Mutter" as he was named at STAR) just a couple months after my first, beloved (Morris) rescue, Spumante ("Mante") passed away in my arms. Enzo was about one or two when I adopted him. According to the genetic test, Enzo is a Shih Tzu mixed with a little Maltese, and at a healthy 25 pounds plus, quite "off the charts" for his two breeds! He is still quite playful and energetic at almost ten years old now, very protective of me, and always by my side--the best companion!
