Pet's Story or Bio
Maggie’s was born to a stray in Alabama in early May 2008 and brought to a kill shelter along with all of her siblings. A rescue in the poconos rescued them and adopted them out. Maggie (then Helen) came home with me when she was only about 8-12 weeks old.

Maggie has been by my side more than half my life and she’s managed to bring a sense of joy, comfort and appreciation on a daily basis for the 17 years she’s been my companion. She’s lived through all major life events - births, deaths, heartbreak, successes, failures and everything in-between.

Her joyful nature is not limited to me. Maggie has become a pillar in the Fairmount neighborhood and beyond. Now, in her older age, she wears crocs daily for leg support and after kids stop to greet her, without fail, I will overhear “Mommy, that dog is wearing crocs!” Numerous people stop to take her picture on our daily walks and tell me how she made their day. She’s a true fashion icon.

She’s also traveling the world in her older age. Well, sorta. She has her own stickers with the hashtag #WhereIsMaggieMoo so people can find her socials and she can keep brining joy all around the world. Thanks for taking the time to read about my special hat and croc wearing best friend. ♥️
