Rules

• Winners are based on the top 13 individuals who receive the most votes.
• Animals must be a cat or dog that was adopted from a shelter/rescue (can be any, doesn't have to be MHHS).
• You can nominate multiple animals but they need to be able to be photographed together & have been adopted from a rescue or shelter.
• Winners must be available in early September to be photographed at the shelter with our photographer.
• Winners must be friendly & handle able by staff that help get pictures taken (will be done when we are closed in the front office – low contact).
• Applicants or those nominating their animal must include a photo of the animal in the nomination and share a story that includes when the animal was adopted & from where, any background story that animal had at the shelter & how that animal's life has been changed for the better.

1^st place (most votes) – Front page of the calendar, a free calendar, free MHHS T-Shirt & 1 year membership.
2^nd & 3^rd place – Their choice of month that their pet will be featured on, a free calendar, free MHHS T-Shirt & 1 year membership.
4^th-13^th place – Featured as the pet of the month on the calendar, free calendar, free MHHS T-shirt & 1 year membership.
