Pet's Story or Bio
Dottie is a sassy 2.4year old rescue Griffon from New Zealand. Dottie was born with dwarfism, Chiari-like malformation and several other medical conditions that make her journey through life a little more difficult.

Dottie is only 2kg, 16cm tall and 27cm long! Although small in stature she is feisty in spirit!

Despite her various ailments and illnesses, Dottie is a happy, friendly, social little dog who has a knack for cheering people up and spreading joy!

Dottie loves meeting new dogs and lives with us, our other griffon (her biological mum) and our three Chihuahuas.

Although she is a "disabled dog" Dottie maintains "jobs" and contributes so much to her community. Dottie is a brilliant foster sister as we operate New Zealand Chihuahua Rescue (a registered charity here in New Zealand). Dot also visits hospitals and retirement homes as qualified Canine Therapy Dog. Dottie loves coming to work with her human mum (in a law office) and her human dad (at a construction site). If there's an adventure to be had - Dottie wants to come along!

We are so proud of Dottie as she never complains, has a beautiful temperament and is such an outstanding companion. Dottie is proof that disabled dogs can still live a fantastic life!
