Be in Morty's Calendar!
Morty is a Long Way Home Adoptables alum, so he wants to help pay it forward this holiday season. He will be having a calendar available for sale, and 100% of proceeds will go directly to the rescue. But, because Morty is such an incredible pup, he wants to give YOU a chance to be in HIS calendar! Morty will grace the cover and back page, plus 9 months of the calendar. However, 3 months and the centerfold are left blank for FOMs... Friends of Morty! Nominate your pet for the calendar, get your friends and family to vote, and the three pets with the most votes will get to be in Morty's calendar!

The top 3 photos that receive the most votes will be featured in the 2022 MortyTheMisfit international calendar. To enter, submit a photo of your pet into the competition (free), and the three pets with the most votes ($1 per vote) win! Your pet may be any size, species, or breed. Pets may also have passed away, and photos submitted in memoriam. Pets will have their bio/history included in the calendar, along with any social media handles that are applicable, if any.

1st Place Winner
The 1st place winner will not only have their pet featured in one of the calendar's months, but they will ALSO win the coveted spot of the centerfold and have that image featured as a photo of the month, respectively.

Cover
The cover photo will be Morty's iconic image in front of the speakers, designed by @dj_mitchythemisfit.

Any voters who donate over $50 in total votes will get 3 free calendars and free shipping. Calendars will ship to the address listed on the payment receipt. 


Morty will be randomly giving away surPRIZEs throughout the contest. They will have no forewarning or advanced notice, and will NOT be reserved only for the top vote earners. Morty loves everyone the same, so even if your pet doesn't have any votes, YOU will be eligible to win some Morty love.


Supporters may also "reserve" a calendar day for $75. You may to submit a photo and caption to fill that special day for you, your pet, or someone you love.

This special boy, Morty, was originally saved by Long Way Home Adoptables in College Station, Texas. He was named "Mufasa" in their program, and he had all his foster and medical needs (including the infamous eye removal) with their vet. Morty's amazing foster mom, Tammy, got him rehabilitated and ready for adoption, and then he was adopted to his wonderful new family.

Long Way Home is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization saving animals regardless of age, health, or species. While LWHA is an all breed rescue, they specialize in small breed seniors, medical cases, and abuse victims. Some may be pets in an over-capacity shelter, some may need serious veterinary care or rehabilitation, and most are elderly pets that are deemed "unadoptable" by shelter. Their foster-based, volunteer, rescue runs exclusively on public donations, and 100% of donations are tax deductible and used for animal care and to ensure they are able to save as many animals as possible.
