Pet's Story or Bio
Little was at the shelter due to be euthanized, I did not want another dog but knew I had to save him. He was 12, had been severely abused and had a bad attitude. He weighed 4 lbs, but he was tough as a big dog! He was a challenge, everyone told me to return him, I refused. He nipped at me, peed on my stuff, and really never bonded with me, but he loved my MinPin. They became best friends. My only goal was to give him a soft place to land and all the love he would let me shower on him. His final years were a lot of work. He bonded with my mom, who had Alzheimer’s in her final weeks of life, they spent all day on my couch sleeping and snuggling. She died January of 2021, and he went a few weeks after that. He was 17. I cried and cried as I held him, in his final gesture he licked my hand. Everything was worth it for that final loving kiss. I miss that little dog.
