Pet's Story or Bio
We adopted Henry from In Our Hands Rescue. It’s a local shelter whose wonderful staff members drive down to Georgia’s high kill shelters to rescue animals on the kill list and bring them up north to New York City. He’s a pitbull/beagle mix. One of his eyes is blue, and one is brown. One of his ears is floppy, and one stands up. He is a sweetheart, and he helped me get through the loss of my brother and my rescue dog, Mocha, who died of cancer only weeks apart. My heart just melts whenever I look at him, and people who meet/see him can’t help but fall in love.
