Pet's Story or Bio
Ben was rescued from a hoarder with 49 other dogs. He was in bad shape, he’s a little guy at only 5.7lbs, and was only 3lbs when rescued. He was only 5 years old but most of his teeth were rotted and had to be pulled. He was overlooked constantly because he’s blind. I fell in love instantly! He’s been with me since 2016 but I’m going to lose him early; he has dementia 😢. I carry him to his meals as he’s forgotten how to get there and just makes circles. He’s also forgotten how to play but we’re working on that! I got to adopt him in the middle of recurrent cancer and he helped me fight my way through. The Rescue took a chance. They’re so awesome I volunteer with them now! Ben will be with me until the very end. When he forgets how to eat will be the saddest day in my life. But hoping that’s years away.
