A little about me...
Schaubie was my very first foster with MSRH, and the moment I saw his photo, I knew he was the one. I had been hoping to foster a senior dog, and at 11 years old, Schaubie was the perfect match. My family and I fell head over heels for him, and just a few months later, we made it official—there was no way we were letting him go.

That same year, my stepfather had a stroke, and Schaubie turned out to be the most loyal and comforting support partner we could’ve asked for. Since then, he’s made himself right at home at my parents’ house… and hasn’t left. (Yes, they totally stole him from me—no shame on their part, apparently!)

Schaubie’s favorite snacks are apple slices and animal cookies. He’s not a fan of wearing clothes, but we still manage to sneak him into a Halloween costume every year. He’s cool, calm, and collected—unless someone rings the front doorbell. All in all, he’s an absolute joy to have around.
