Welcome to the MetroWest Humane Society 2021 Pet Calendar Photo Contest!

Do you have a photogenic feline? A picturesque pug? A fetching ferret? Think your pet is picture-perfect? This is your chance to show off your animal friends! Submit your pet's photo to the MetroWest Humane Society 2021 Pet Calendar Photo Contest and get the most votes to win a featured spot in the coveted 2021 MWHS Calendar! Each vote is only $1 and 100% of the proceeds will be used to help homeless cats and kittens at the MetroWest Humane Society. There is no cost to enter, and you can enter as many photos as you like. This photo fundraiser is a great way to celebrate your best friend, while supporting the important work done by MWHS.

The 12 pet photos that receive the most votes at the conclusion of the contest will be our top 12 winners, and the photo with the most votes will adorn the calendar cover. We have a special spot reserved for our 1st and 2nd runners-up, and all photos with 5 or more votes will appear somewhere in the calendar.

So get those cameras ready for the moment when your animal companion strikes that perfect pose. All donations are tax-deductible and go directly to help residents like our handsome Lenny, a gentle, shy boy who has been waiting for a forever home since October 2014.


Even though you can enter as many photos as you wish, you can increase your odds of winning by entering only your favorites so that your friends and family don't have to choose which of your photos to vote for.

This year's contest will once again have a vote bank! You will not have to use your credit card each time you vote (see RULES page).

Remember to frequently check your standing toward the end of the contest in case you want to vote again. VOTING IS VERY BRISK AN HOUR BEFORE THE CONTEST ENDS!!!

Since we can't guarantee on which month each winning photo will appear, it's usually a good idea to avoid photos with holiday themes. We let our winners choose the month of their preference based on rank…so it is entirely possible that a furry "Santa Claws" may be featured in the month of June instead of December.

Lastly, remember that every vote helps the homeless animals in our care, AND is tax deductible. Vote EARLY and OFTEN – we need your support!
