My Pit Bull is Family, a 501(c)(3) non-profit based in Minneapolis, Minnesota, is committed to keeping families together by advocating for dog-inclusive rental and insurance policies and offering essential pet retention programs.

Our initiatives include collaborating with property management companies, conducting comprehensive pet policy research, fostering community relationships, and providing vital resources to ensure pets remain with their families.

In 2019, we enhanced our community support with the launch of the North Minneapolis Pet Resource Center, where our team provides assistance to local pet owners with supplies and resources. Moreover, our Mobile Pet Resource Center, Community Animal Medicine Professionals Program, and monthly community pet clinics are dedicated to delivering veterinary care to underserved communities, ensuring no pet & their family are left without support.
