Dog's Story
We adopted Miss Ruby Mae in December 2023. She was found in a hoarding situation down south where she was living in a cage. Ruby spent the first three years of her life being fed through cage holes. She had at least one litter of puppies but we don’t know what happened to them. Ruby came to us nervous but instantly fell in love with any human willing to show her love. Our dog Kal instantly became best friends with her, and he has set a wonderful example for her. She has since grown into a playful, vocal, loving companion who fits perfectly into our family. It has been such a rewarding experience watching her personality develop as she simply learns how to be a dog in a safe and loving home.
