2026 Calendar Photo Contest

Hello and welcome to the New England Lab Rescue calendar contest!

We all know that labs (and lab mixes) are just the best – they're gorgeous, they make us smile with their goofy antics, and melt our hearts with their warm snuggles – so let's share the love! This is your chance to show off your amazing best friend/fur-baby in an even further reach than your social media followers, AND spread joy on a daily basis. Even better, all proceeds from the photo competition and calendar sales will go towards helping more dogs in need!

Enter a photo of your NELR alum to win a chance at 12 coveted photo-of-the-month spots that will complete our 2026 NELR Calendar ($10 registration fee, includes 5 complimentary votes to get your pup's campaign started). You may also help by voting for your favorite photo(s).

Reserve a Day to Honor Your Pet

Just want a guaranteed spot in the calendar? Reserve a day to honor your pet. This can be for your pet's adoption anniversary, birthday, loved one's birthday, memorial or really any special day! Your pet's photo will appear on the day of your choice. Just choose your favorite photo and then choose the day and pay! First come first served! Once a date has been reserved, it will no longer be available.

Grand prize (1):

One free NELR 2026 calendar and the featured photo for the month of your choosing. The winning photo will also be featured as the cover image for our Facebook page (facebook.com/NewEnglandLabRescue) and website (newenglandlabrescue.com) for the month of January, 2025.

Photos will be used in a collage on the cover.

Rules

Rules for submission:

In order to give everyone a fair chance, please only submit one photo per dog (if you need help choosing, feel free to message us!). If you have more than one NELR alum, though, you may include more than one dog per photo.
Please make sure your photos are of your NELR dog, only. You look radiant, but this calendar is all about the pups (this is also to help protect your privacy). Please make sure the dogs are clearly visible and depicted in a humane manner. Costumes are welcome :)
Your photos should be as hi-resolution as possible (1MB or larger preferred) for printing at approximately 8.5x11 inches. The better the resolution and lighting, the nicer your precious pup will look in the calendar!
We cannot accept copyrighted photos, however, if you have photos from a professional photographer, you may send proof from the photographer that they will allow us to reproduce their work.
Please include a brief story or bio about your pup to go with your campaign.
By entering, you acknowledge and give permission to New England Lab Rescue to use the name, story, and photo of the dog entered in the 2026 NELR Calendar, as well as our social media outlets.
The more you communicate your participation in the contest (i.e. on Facebook, InstaGram, etc.) the better your chances are of getting one of the top spots!
