Dog's Story
We adopted Duke from NELR in March 2025, we were told on Jan 1,2025 he was found in a gully on the side of a road in Georgia. He had been hit by a car and made his way to the gully where they think he got attacked by raccoons or a pack of strays. NELR took him in and healed him up. When my boyfriend and I saw his photos and read his description we knew we needed him. He is the most loving, easy going, happy go lucky boy and we’re so lucky NELR rescued him.
