Pet's Story
I was sitting in my mom’s garden reading my U.S. History textbook when this scruffy little cat crawled out from under the shed. He looked like he hadn’t eaten in days, so I called him over to see if I could help. He came right up and pressed his face into my hand like we were already friends.

Just for fun, I patted my lap—didn’t think he’d actually go for it—but he surprised me by hopping right up and purring like crazy. He even rubbed his face against mine, like he’d decided then and there that I was his person.

He wasn’t fixed or microchipped, so I took him in—and we've been best buds ever since.

Pet's Quirks
As you can tell from this photo, Buster is "the most interesting [cat] in the world."

Based on my story, you'd think Buster is a lover, not a fighter - and it's true! He's cuddly and lovable and affectionate when around humans... But that loving spirit goes out the window when another cat is involved. He wasn't thrilled when he got a little sister, but after a lot of time and care, I can proudly say that he finally.... tolerates her.
