Nashville Humane and TailGate Brewery are joining forces to make your pet a superstar on a limited edition TailGate brew!
Here’s how it works. Between August 7 and August 21, 2023, you can submit a photo of your pet (dog or cat) as a nominee to be featured on the wrapper of the 2023 TailGate Brewery Adoption Ale. It’s a special limited edition brew by the beer wizards at TailGate Brewery. Entering your pet is just a $20 donation to Nashville Humane.
Vote for your favorite. Then, starting August 22, you, your friends, and everyone who loves your pet’s photo will be allowed to vote for their favorite submission until Sept. 17, 2023. Each vote is a $1 donation to Nashville Humane.
We have a winner. Once all the votes are tabulated, the dog with the highest number of votes and the cat with the highest number of votes will be declared the respective winners.
This is all swiftly followed by immediate fame for your furry companion, as they become one of the spotlighted pets on the TailGate Brewery Adoption Ale! Crafted skillfully by the talented artist at TailGate, a charming caricature of your pet is guaranteed to capture hearts!
Supporters of Nashville Humane and lovers of great beer will be able to find Adoption Ale at all TailGate Brewery taprooms, as well as NHA’s Dog Day Festival at Centennial Park on October 21st.
Why it matters. Here’s the best part of this whole deal… all of the proceeds for this contest go straight toward supporting the life-saving efforts and mission at Nashville Humane. From our Transport Program which brings pets from our back yard and all across the country into our program, to our Emergency Medical Fund that literally saves lives daily, your support makes little furry dreams come true. Every year we help nearly 4,000 pets find their perfect matches, all while maintaining a 99% annual save rate. As an entirely gift-based not-for-profit, all of this is made possible thanks to generous donations and fun contests just like this!
