Juniper

Pet's Story
I adopted Juniper from the Nashville Humane Association after seeing her on their website. I was drawn in by her eyes, but quickly won over by her personality. Although I adopted her from the shelter, I think I needed her more than she needed me. I'm grieving the loss of my daughter and was looking for a furever friend. We became bff's almost immediately! I don't know what her origin story is, but she is definitely in her forever home!

Pet's Quirks
Juniper is ruled by her nose, so, she gets distracted quite easily on our walks. She is very social though. She loves everyone and wants to make friends with every dog we encounter. Sometimes, her excitement gets the best of her and she rears up on her hind legs, whimpers, or barks if she's unable to get close to an approaching dog. She gets the zoomies often, which ignites her Superdog speed! She is also quite the digger! She is an energetic ball of affection! She's extremely intelligent and treat motivated. She learned the commands "sit", "lay down", and "shake" the first day we practiced. "Leave it" may take awhile longer because she is working on impulse control, but her favorite frog toy is a great distractor. Juniper has heterochromia. Her striking eyes mesmerize everyone she meets!
