Pet's Story
Meet Kora, a 9-year-old brindle Pit Bull–Beagle mix who has proudly called Nashville home for the past seven years. While her muzzle may be turning gray, you'd never know it from her endless energy. With her nose glued to the ground and her tail wagging high in the air, she's always on the hunt for the next exciting scent or backyard adventure. When she's not following her nose, you'll usually find her stretched out in a warm patch of sunshine, perfecting the art of the afternoon nap. Kora has a special gift for making ordinary days extraordinary. Whether she's flashing her irresistible doe eyes in hopes of one more treat or quietly curling up beside someone who's had a difficult day, she has an uncanny ability to lift spirits and remind everyone that unconditional love has four paws.

Pet's Quirks
Convinced her tiger stripes make her faster, Kora spends most afternoons patrolling the backyard in pursuit of squirrels. She launches into every chase with Olympic-level confidence, despite the fact that the squirrels remain undefeated and her legs remain quite short. Rainy days, however, are beneath her. Kora refuses to get her permanent white socks dirty and will dramatically avoid puddles as if they’re lava. Fast? Absolutely (in her mind). Fearless? Usually. Willing to step in mud? Not a chance.
